This is the development version of alabaster.string; for the stable release version, see alabaster.string.
Save and Load Biostrings to/from File
Bioconductor version: Development (3.22)
Save Biostrings objects to file artifacts, and load them back into memory. This is a more portable alternative to serialization of such objects into RDS files. Each artifact is associated with metadata for further interpretation; downstream applications can enrich this metadata with context-specific properties.

Installation
To install this package, start R (version "4.5") and enter:
if (!require("BiocManager", quietly = TRUE))
install.packages("BiocManager")

BiocManager::install(version='devel')
BiocManager::install("alabaster.string")
