Class getFolder_Test

  • All Implemented Interfaces:
    com.sun.javatest.Test

    public class getFolder_Test
    extends MailTest
    This class tests the getFolder(String) API. It does this by passing various valid input values and then checking the type of the returned object.

    Return the Folder object corresponding to the given name

    api2test: public Folder getFolder(String name) throws MessagingException

    how2test: Call this API with various parameters. Verify that the type of the

    object returned if its Folder, then the testcase passes, otherwise

    it fails.

    a) Note that this folder does not physically have to exist in the Store.

    [ The exists() method on a Folder indicates whether it really exists on the Store. ]

    b) name can be an absolute path if it starts with the hierarchy delimiter.

    Otherwise, it is interpreted relative to this Folder.

    c) Invoking this method on the same name multiple times will return that

    many distinct Folder objects.

    d) This method can be invoked on a closed Folder.
